Reliance Sinclair: Insurance Claims Investigator. It’s not a glamorous title, and the job rarely gets my adrenaline pumping. But things take a drastic turn when I’m dispatched to New Baia, a resort city on the recently terraformed planet Remus-3, to investigate an unusual number of fire claims—all with the maximum coverage allowed.

This isn’t just another routine case. State-of-the-art homes have been burned to the ground, lives are shattered, and it’s not clear if the victims are truly innocent. With my background as a DECA agent, I’m prepared for danger. However, nothing about this case is straightforward. My task is to stop the hemorrhage of credits bleeding the insurance company dry, but what I uncover goes far beyond fraudulent claims—and straight into a conspiracy that could leave more than property in ruins.

With danger closing in, I need to solve the case quickly—or risk becoming the next one caught in the fire.
